The CAED lab( Computer Aided Engineering Drawing ) of MITE is well equiped with all the latest equipment and is digitized for the benifit of the student. The lab is centrally air conditioned and is well furnished with imported furnitures . The lab has roof mounted speakers. To ensure maximum comfort as well as keeping the ergonomics and to control work stress the lab furnitures have been desigend appropriately. The lab is one of the best across karnataka. It has a seating capacity of 60 students. The computers are connected on a high speed network and ensure maximum job efficiency. The lab has lcd projectors . The instructor can show the demo of the given assignment from a centralised computer and the students can view it o their independent displays.this ensures individual teaching for all.

MITE is established in a vast plot carved out of a total holding exceeding 40 acres land held by Rajalaxmi Education Trust . MITE is located on the Mangalore - Sholapur Highway and is about 30 kms from Mangalore and is about 4 kms short of the town of Moodabidri. The entire area provides abundance of quiet and unpolluted air, which has become rarest of the rare in the modern campus life.
