CHEMISTRY LAB:

MITE has a very good and modern type chemistry lab. Situated in the ground floor on the right wing of the main college building the lab meets all the requirements of a modern chemistry lab.It has all grade A glassware and apparatus. It also houses a seperate stock room for storing chemicals and a refrigration and drying facility also .It has all necessary safety features also. It has a capacity of 30students.

MITE LIBRARY:

Mite library is situated in the ground floor of the main college building. It is a very vast place. It is centrally air conditioned. It is divided into 2 major sections . The first one is the REFERENCE SECTION . This section covers the major portion of the library. A student has the choice of refering any book of his choice be it engineering, management or any other book available in the library. Personal text books of the student are not allowed in here. In addition to it to update and expand the knowledge of the student computers are also provided. A student can login and go through online journals and browse educational sites through them. The library here is completely digitized and all records as well as e-books are loaded into the computers. a student can search for the copy of the book he wants from the librarys own database software . To enhance group study and discuss on various topics the other portion of the library known as GROUP DISCUSSION SECTION is introduced. the students can peak to each other here, discuss on various topics andstay well informed. this room is soundproof so that sound from here doesnt leak out to the REFERENCE SECTION.

COMPUTER CONCEPTS AND PROGRAMMING LAB(CCP LAB):

This is a snapshot of one of the ccp labs of our college . We have 3 CCP labs in the ground floor of the main collge building. Each ccp lab has 30 computers each. it is also well furnished and centrally airconditioned. High speed LAN connects each pc in all the three labs. every lab is provided with 2 printers each.

MITE CAED LAB:


The CAED lab( Computer Aided Engineering Drawing ) of MITE is well equiped with all the latest equipment and is digitized for the benifit of the student. The lab is centrally air conditioned and is well furnished with imported furnitures . The lab has roof mounted speakers. To ensure maximum comfort as well as keeping the ergonomics and to control work stress the lab furnitures have been desigend appropriately. The lab is one of the best across karnataka. It has a seating capacity of 60 students. The computers are connected on a high speed network and ensure maximum job efficiency. The lab has lcd projectors . The instructor can show the demo of the given assignment from a centralised computer and the students can view it o their independent displays.this ensures individual teaching for all.

Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE) is established by Mr. Rajesh Chouta under Rajalaxmi Education Trust, Mangalore in 2007 with an objective of promoting research-oriented advanced courses in the field of technology & engineering. MITE is committed to promote and propagate quality education on par with international standards to groom talents and turn them into top quality professionals with high intellectual capabilities and strong moral values.
